Today’s wide-eyed and innocent Daily Mail front page has no idea who could be responsible for the #FarageRiots

Thursday’s Daily Mail headline: ‘A BIGGER RACIST DID IT AND THEN RAN AWAY’. A tagline says ‘Far-Right "newspapers" had nothing to do with far-Right "protests"’. Under photo of protesters a story says “THOUSANDS of front pages took to the streets across the country this morning to exonerate scared far-Right newspapers. Threats of disorder across the UK saw headlines hurriedly rewritten in a craven and cynical attempt to distance tabloids from the violence. The Daily Mail specifically, having spent none of the last century stoking bigotry with a deluge of hysterical anti-immigrant invective, has absolutely no culpability in the events we thought were going to take place last night. We’ve got nothing to do with the far Right, despite weirdly insisting on spelling it with a capital R as if to show we think they’re important. We think we saw that guy Nigel and mates talking with them, though. Is that his name? We don’t know him. And we’ve never even heard of the Blackshirts TURN TO PAGE 6”
