I did find the beaches on the mainland a bit disappointing after the Uist ones. Also there were other people on them.

I grew up in Daliburgh and used to cycle to the beach as a child.

Looks like a view you'll never tire of, and in Annat you'll be able to see what the weather will be a few hours before it arrives. I was up that way last week in Shieldaig.

That's all the nest boxes in the garden cleared out ready for next year. Every one used. Mostly tree sparrows which are on the UK conservation red list. Each one produced 2 - 3 clutches so lots more sparrows around hopefully. #sparrows#birds#nests 🐣🐦
