Sahoni's game design corner: The ability to inspect and look at objects is an often underutilized chance to express character and internal dialog that personalizes a protagonist. This goes doubly so for horror, which often thrives on a sense of isolation and loneliness.

I often search for bugs in Central Florida, these are a couple of my favourite names!

Observation from iNaturalist, a moth called the "coffee-loving pyrausta moth".
Observation from iNaturalist, a fly called "yellow fly of the dismal swamp".

DID YOU KNOW?

That the knight (obtuse horse piece) moves only in an L direction because that's how it feels while being digested by your organs. It's true! The strategy of swallowing chess pieces dates back to the beginning of the game and was integral to its design. This ancient expression of sore loserdom proved to be an effective mind game tool, and chess is a game of the mind. The only weapon that can beat intelligence is pure, unbridled chaos which all humans are capable of.

WHOA THERE, HUNGRY!

You can't just pick up any piece and begin digesting it willy-nilly. Swallowing Chess Pieces is a method that must be mastered. With this book you'll learn proper chess table manners (such as wearing a bib with a chess piece printed on it), things to shout before you swallow chess pieces that are not terroristic threats but sound a lot like them, and complimenting chess salts and spices - because Swallowing Chess Pieces isn't just a strategy, it's an art!

People think real life androids will be like Data but it’ll actually be: 2am. Your hotel room keycard isn’t working. The front desk concierge has been replaced by a robotic torso and head that tells you to enjoy your stay no matter what you say. You repeat “Keycard not working” louder and louder

Oh, like 90% of user submissions on Steam are extreme right-wing content like calls for genociding minorities and the like. I don't think there's ever going to be any moderation there.

question: how do you abuse the curator system? isn't it basically just reviews but physically larger on the screen?
