That’s encouraging. We also have a stone built 17th C Grade II listed property in the Dales but most local heating engineers recommend staying with a high temperature heat source (oil).
I highly recommend looking into a heat pump. I reckon we will save about 50% of the costs we were paying on oil. We did do a fair amount of energy saving work, especially an innovative design of secondary glazing using double glazed lights, thus making the windows effectively triple glazed.
