#Mathstoday@mrsouthernmaths.bsky.social@susanwhitehouse.bsky.social chapter on polynomials I approached it with a series of questions to draw out pupils methods for dividing fractions, giving the questions in a variety of ways. Was really good to find out what students know.
#mathstoday looking at sketching reciprocal trig graphs. Doing cosec(3x). I made the stupid decision to label my axes before I sketched the graph. Pi/2, pi etc. it did not go well but turned into a bit about sketching graphs. Don't think the kids noticed....

One of the things I'm really enjoying about Bluesky Maths education, and the hashtags #ALevelMaths#MathsToday is the gender balance of contributors. It feels a lot healthier than Twitter ever did.
