I have been staying with my parents for the last few years while filing for disability and I still haven't been approved. My autistic ticks, nervous laughs, food icks are being taken as insults and my parents refuse to educate themselves. they want to believe i'm a monster so they want me to leave

Wanted to post a picture of my kitty Duncan who passed away two months ago... 7/9/24. I'm glad I still get time with him in my dreams.
Even after all he did I spent decades trying to reach out to him... I checked in to see if he wanted a relationship with me or something... The effort it would take to send in anything would be infinitely more than the effort he put in to being my father. I'm not going to bother lifting a finger.
My father just died. I am not sure how to feel about it. He was there but begrudgingly. Any closeness there was as a child was matched with his hostility. Hitting me to make me less autistic. As I got older time with him was only possible if he could grift from me. I will not be at the funeral.
