My thoughts exactly. Many teachers will hold on to this sense of community from their own time at school which is a natural draw to the profession.

I think there’s so much to be gained by building closer relationships between primaries and secondaries. Transition aside, the sharing of resources and knowledge such as early reading for struggling readers or hist/geog subject and disciplinary knowledge would be so useful. There’s just no time!

I’m looking for a little bit of help. Does anyone have national data for EYFS (GLD, all goals, prime, specific) for years 2022, 2023, 2024. Is this even available? I’m trying to put a headline data doc together but don’t have a decent assessment database in place at our school…yet. Thanks in advance

How do you go about organising spaced retrieval Pete? Do you have a set of pre-identified retrieval questions for each unit of work for teachers to use?

Brian Bilston Refugees with our Year 6. It generates so much discussion and leaves them speechless when they find out it can be read both ways, showcasing two perspectives on the same issue. Michael Rosen Chocolate Cake with the Year 5’s when performed by the man himself of course!

Wonderful to be visiting Greenwood Academy in Birmingham today as we launch the Curriculum & Assessment Review's Call for Evidence. It’s imperative that we hear perspectives and evidence from as wide a range of people as possible. I look forward to reading the responses! www.gov.uk/government/n...

This looks wonderful! So vibrant and enticing. Do you have one of these areas for each year group?

We are in the same position so no wisdom to offer I’m afraid. It would be so helpful to have some clarity around this area as part of the curriculum/assessment review - nearly every primary teacher I know seems to be having the same issue.

I swear I remember loose dogs being more of a common occurrence when I was at primary! Cute dog though! Worth it for the cuddles 😊
