My thoughts exactly. Many teachers will hold on to this sense of community from their own time at school which is a natural draw to the profession.
Teachers like having their room as it reduces workload, better for behaviour (students come into *your* territory) etc. Not even having your ‘own’ school? Nah. Unless it’s promoted as/becomes a career rung.
