This was the nicest bit of my week - and considering it is a late-start inset day today, I feel like that is saying something.
Starting the reading today for the masters. The essential list runs to two pages, which is a bit daunting. This one is core to my well-being: just sitting on my desk and purring loudly, after he's left muddy pawprints in my notebook for course, so I can carry him everywhere.
I've got a book hangover. I keep thinking of the characters and feeling sad the book is over and they're gone now. Does anybody else get this?
I'm doing it alongside work, it's in week-long chunks over the year and school agreed to release me 😊 it will be interesting balancing the workload but I am up for the challenge!
I haven't been to any of them yet but I booked myself a little trip in half term so I will start with these!

Very exciting day yesterday, finally attending induction at Oxford for an MSc in educational assessment. I've had my eye on this course for 7 years! Also deeply excited that this student card allows me access to all the libraries.
Yesterday I woke up and wondered why I had set the alarm on a Sunday. Today I planned my whole outfit around a pair of earrings and then forgot to put them on. Then had a tough-love UCAS grade conv with someone who turned out to be the wrong student. What will tomorrow bring 🫣
