Our new paper in AJE, led by PhD student Oana Enache, highlights problems in demographic tables and proposes graph-based reporting for understanding intersectional identities. Clinical Research Reporting Paradigms May Incompletely Describe Participant Identities: academic.oup.com/aje/advance-...

Two tree-based graphs demonstrate how the same tabular demographic data can have different underlying data when examining intersecting sets of demographic characteristics.

I understand the incentives not being aligned in general? But, how about tenured faculty with secured appointments and established reputation? Can they bear the initial burden until this becomes the new norm?

Unfortunately this seems to be a general pattern for a lot of Trump supporters (those who know him and and still support him - not the uninofmred ones): ANGER at being wronged. You can be as powerful as #ElonMusk and still feel harmed by a sector of the society and support someone who can harm you.
