New @upjohninstitute.bsky.social working paper with Hilary Wething on the impact of paid sick leave and hours worked. We found that the policy supported low-wage workers to increase work by 4.4 hours/quarter. See @hilwething.bsk.social 's thread for details and links to the paper and brief.

Excited to share a new @upjohninstitute.bsky.social working paper with @mslopen.bsky.social on the impact of paid sick leave and hours worked. We looked at one of the oldest city laws, Seattle's PSL law, and found that the policy induced low-wage workers to work 4.4 hours/quarter more than before
