Saw this fruit tree covered in mistletoe today in what appears to be a small orchard near Glastonbury. There’s an interesting map from the 1990s showing distribution of mistletoe in England and Wales: www.surveys.mistletoe.org.uk/index.html 1/2

This tree is right at the southernmost end of the most dense population of mistletoe, according to the map. I live close to the border with Herefordshire which has lots of orchards, most of which seem to also have an incredible amount of mistletoe.
