I think that’s always the weirdest part of it. The fedsoc gameplan has been to make the judiciary theirs and to wield power over the other branches through it. Would be kind of dumb to throw that away to a kind of dumb authoritarian.

I remember when Israel dropped a bomb on the first hospital in Gaza and people spent 2 to 3 days saying that Israel wouldn't actually do this intentionally. We're now 3 months in and they have destroyed every single hospital in Gaza. 36 in total. Complete silence from the defenders.

Another example is Napoleon which irritates some historians but Kingdom of Heaven is ahistorical and a banger.

I think you’re all correct (or sound it). I just also think it’s ridiculous to think a housing crisis should be divorced from whether the economy is doing well. Spending more on homelessness for less with skyrocketing homelessness is very much an indicator of an economy that sucks.

And the president is responsible for all the good things and none of the bad, like the economy which he famously controls with a keen eye 👍🏻. We’ll just have to work on getting a Dem trifecta at the state level - oh wait
