The notion you can't enjoy something unless the protagonist looks like you is absurd and very sad.

Just to be clear, it's perfectly valid to feel underrepresented in media. This is different from the toxic notion that groups different to oneself are *somehow* "unrealistic" or "forced" or "an attack".
