sadly neither threads or twitter going anywhere. they both have something blusky doesn’t. brands. made even worse by fact blusky has no kind of verification system to speak of (technically neither does x but brands already had their accounts established). blusky already has trolls sitting accounts

i def complain about that a lot. because i do see the performance waste sometimes. i always lean toward better client and server performance. especially when it does to this day degrade on every world boss or outdoor event. spammy player actions are exponentially problematic in those cases

i’ve said this to an extent too. i think ideal world is ali was culled a bit but not completely. and base ui was just better. i often compare say skyrim to witcher 3. both modable but one is designed to be modded to achieve best experience and one isn’t. wow is like skyrim. mods become necessary

i just remember specifically the cleu spam lead to performance degradation during spammy situations. in mop it became so bad that devs were forced to inventory where they could cull spam to make hydra boss even playable in tot. yet. to this day. this still happens when devs lose sight of that

Those always drive me crazy, especially when designer doesn’t think of implication of having dots or heals ticking every 0.25 or every 0.5 seconds or having 213523623543264735236235 adds or npcs spawn for cool factor. i bet server team hates em every time 🤣
