FYI Scammers have hit Bluesky! Just a note to folks: don’t get sucked in by too-good-to-be-true offers. There’s a few scams like this (mostly phishing related). If they were legit, there’s no reason KoFi wouldn’t have been fine. I knew they WEREN’T, but I strung them along cuz it’s funny to me :3

Things are a bit congested in the blue sky. Looks like the influx of birds flying from the nest has caused this congestion. If you are having trouble writing sky messages (posts) or joining a flock (trying to follow someone), please have patience for the sky's congestion to clear up.
I imagine the API is getting overloaded by the mass influx of people and posts coming through the servers. BSky is going to have to consider purchasing more servers to handle its new population.
PSA FOR EVERYONE WANTING TO SEE FURRY ART If you want to see adult furry art. It's often tagged by the admins as "cartoon" and will automatically hide it from your feed or only have a small warning that's easy to miss. HOW TO FIX THIS: Please share so others don't miss art posts!
BY THE WAY, THIS IS IMPORTANT. If you want everyone showing up on your feeds, you gotta go into Settings > Basic > Languages and clear the Content Languages field. Essential.

Be sure to use Sky Follower Bridge to follow people you follow on X, and you can also use '/followers_you_follow' into the X url after your username if you only want mutuals. Be sure to go to BSky Settings > App Passwords to create one for the plugin so you don't give out your real password.
