I imagine the API is getting overloaded by the mass influx of people and posts coming through the servers. BSky is going to have to consider purchasing more servers to handle its new population.

Yeah found that out after commenting. xD I'm not as active on BSky as I should be but with many of the people I follow moving over here after X's more recent changes, going to try to be more active here too. :)
