I worm with Prohibit because parasites in this area are ivermectin resistant and panacur doesn't work at all. Cydectin is used for bottle jaw.

Feed goats first cutting hay, limited or no alfalfa. If they don't get enough roughage they don't thrive. Do not feed them horse hay or alfalfa. The former is too fine, the latter too rich.

It's almost impossible to bolus a goat. Use injectible instead. They'll chew the bolus before you can get it down them.

No, rotation will help, but will not prevent worms. You will have to deworm, but I do so only when famacha requires, not prophylactically. Loose copper is good. A really good mineral tub is also good. Keep away from sheep regardless. It's toxic to them. If the minerals aren't sufficient your goats
