this is the bad version, the UK version is a gorgeous version but also there is one v disturbing scene right in ep 1 so ymmv. If you can get past/skip that(it adds basically nothing) the rest is a banger

A very bad scene might be a killer for me. I live horror so I don't read it, rarely even write dark fantasy. Probably won't do the new Shogun, which I hear is excellent. Again--if you watch, in the first episode you will want to have the mute button at hand, and don't watch the torture scene.
