I often get the speech of how I need to grow up and be my own person, especially when I accept my parents' help or include them in important decisions. I'm sure no one would bat an eye if I was talking about a partner rather than my parents 🙈
I'm trying to increasingly use the word "family" when talking to strangers about my home situation. On the one hand it doesn't sit right with me because I know they assume something different. On the other hand, people's looks and questions when I mention my parents are just too annoying 🙃
So, I'm really quiet on social media these days but I'm not abandoning my accounts or anything. Just taking some time off. I'm still making personal art, though less regularly than I'd like. But I guess it's ok to take a break from that too.
I'm trying to stop worrying about not being able to share art any time soon. I'd rather wait until I can do it with a more positive attitude 🙈 I've recently found a lovely therapist and I'm currently waiting for insurance to approve the treatment, so hopefully things will get better eventually!

Following up on the issue with my drawing tablet's surface losing its texture... I did the unforgivable and used sand paper to go over the plastic surface. It doesn't look as nice now but it's much less slippery!
