I'm trying to increasingly use the word "family" when talking to strangers about my home situation. On the one hand it doesn't sit right with me because I know they assume something different. On the other hand, people's looks and questions when I mention my parents are just too annoying 🙃
I'm trying to stop worrying about not being able to share art any time soon. I'd rather wait until I can do it with a more positive attitude 🙈 I've recently found a lovely therapist and I'm currently waiting for insurance to approve the treatment, so hopefully things will get better eventually!
Following up on the issue with my drawing tablet's surface losing its texture... I did the unforgivable and used sand paper to go over the plastic surface. It doesn't look as nice now but it's much less slippery! It's so nice to have some normality return after being sick for a long time!
