I mean, it's not like this is being presented as "man of many good ideas, Dick Cheney, is also with us against Trump." We're on the same side until 11/6/24... why not use that for whatever possible help it gives the anti-Trump cause?
Yes, and I wish they were in jail cells... but I'm not too interested in ending up in one, myself, because I oppose the fascists. The feeling of moral superiority in not taking any hand offered in this fight wouldn't make that jail cell of mine any more comfortable, were Trump to take power.
As someone who’s enjoyed/agreed with your writing since the blue blog: I’d happily accept one more vote for Harris from George W himself, if it means i don’t have to live under the 4th Reich. “Trump is too extreme for even Cheney” seems worth mentioning. We can get back to arguing in mid November.
