He was definitely picking McLean up on occasion, usually when the ball went nowhere near McLean iirc 😵‍💫. But it didn't seem to be done consistently. With Osborn apparently managing a long term issue that'll be affecting his mobility, I'd have thought it better to have Ebou around as a ratter.

I'll be honest, I've been a bit disappointed with Osborn so far. Hopefully it's just that his fitness isn't quite there, but he's struggled in possession at times. That said, his pass success rate is much better than Ebou's and hopefully he will get going with more games.
