The Giggle was wonderful. It felt like it ended an era of Doctor Who, the one that started in 2005, and began another. (It still feels like it's the story that began in 1963.)

Personally it felt like fifteen got to assert and establish himself, and every Doctor overlaps each other chronologically anyway so there's no damage in terms of what it means. Mostly I loved the sheer tell-the-storiness of it all though. Tell good stories. Worry about continuity later.

I absolutely loved it. I can't wait for the Christmas special.

Couldn't agree more. It was amazing, everything we ever wanted.

I have never watched anything Dr. Who related, but I loved David Tennant in other things he has been in. Where is the best jumping in point in your opinion?

I started watching Doctor Who in 2005 and it still feels like a timeless show!

Enjoyed the storytelling, but disappointed the big bad was defeated that way - it didn't feel particularly earned for the huge impact of the events. Happy to see how much is being put into the show now though, and ready for more.

Neil, speaking of stories, we should start a book club

I loved it. And lonely Doctor David Tennant got a family and a chance to rest for a change. I'm sure he'll be back for future specials. I was really upset last time, he said he didn't want to go.

The amount of confidence RTD has had in these specials is off the charts! Not afraid to break the brains of gatekeeper fans, and forge new paths ahead, absolutely brilliant to see.
