i realised i measure my german-language ability in the likes i get on the typically sarcastic or flippant comments i leave on posts this week my german is 255-likes good

YouTube just served me a german Amazon ad and then immediately served me an identical english Amazon ad i think this is called "meeting the letter but not the spirit of the brief" (it's rare YouTube will give me german ads at all, usually geo targeting trumps language preference)
