okay, this lends credence to the evaporation theory the tealights i burn in this jar are almost always the white ones which glow under UV the sand does not glow under UV see those whiter flecks? this is in front of a UV light

is it paraffin evaporating from the tealights and condensing on the glass somehow?? who knows
