China: Part 5: Wuhan. Climbed Yellow Crane Tower (of ancient Chinese poetry fame) overlooking the Yangtze River. It’s also the last day of mid autumn festival so I enjoyed a moon cake 🥮.

Large pagoda type tower with 4 balconies, yellow tiled roof. This is Yellow Crane Tower.

China: Part 6: Shennongjia NP. The area is full of endemic and rare species, and has the highest diversity of deciduous woody plant species in the world. As well as giant salamanders, clouded leopard, golden snub nosed monkeys. Also home to the cryptid yeren! en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yeren

Mountain View!
Giant salamander in an enclosure in a captive breeding program. This one was over 100 years old.
Very hot panda lying (weirdly) in a pink toy bath shaped like a cartoon pig. In the captive breeding program.
Entrance road to the park with an archway over it made of a large yeren kissing a smaller yeren.
