Fuck everyone who looks at the family data and reads "women should marry for stability" No. Society should support humans, including children, working parents, disabled folks... we need strong communities to support each other. Marriage is not a replacement for the gutted social safety net.

We should have this, and many other things. But it's not like a utopia existed once and we've been robbed. Someone has to build it, and it's been a long wait so far. I think when people say things like "women should marry for stability" there's a way to see it as practical advice for a cruel reality
