Honestly I’ve taken the Nobels with a grain of salt since they gave the literature prize to Bob Dylan & the peace prize to Obama
This whole drunken delusion about AI is embarrassing and will prove disastrous. I don’t think it will be apocalyptic, though. Instead it will be garbage. So much garbage everywhere. And it will end up being as useful as Craigslist or somesuch. Full of SPAM, adding friction to our lives.

I have had a couple people mansplain it to me and say that because they tested it on physics applications it's physics, and... (One dude is actually Swedish and saw the presentation from the academy and the other is just a wannabe physicist who feels transferred glory when someone from Caltec wins)
First of all - it is not for physics. Machine learning isn't physics. And if someone tells you it is a physics tool they are a liar. Topically incorrect. Make your own awful "destroying the world with computers" prize.
