rough numbers something like $17k-$40k (average $30k) per house to replace old gas lines. So that's money that is freed up to use towards retrofits, heat pumps, etc. Still needs to be demonstrated as the program proceeds
Do these CA utilities provide both gas and electric services? So they’re maintaining revenue, eliminating capital costs?
