First day for a while with substantial time available to do some research. Question 1: how does one do research again?

The net result of the working day seems to have been a series of all-caps annotations saying things like "what the —— am trying to say here", which I guess is one way to do it.

Naturally, it starts with some advanced word searches on Philpapers; then of course those 10 papers I find need to be printed, so better walk to the department for that, and probably need a coffee on the way. Cool, now I will read 10 pages of one paper, put the rest in the pile, and call it a day.
