Always grateful for this little community we've built and the members who participate. 🥳 I've learned so much from them over the past 4 years. Just realized October is the 4 year anniversary of when I co-developed and designed Work in Progress! We launched in January of 2021. 4 years already?! 🤯
I'm a list maker, a scheduler, a planner. Others are more fluid and about intention setting vs. concrete to-dos/task lists. Integrating another style is helpful if you're in a rut & need to change things up! Ex: I plan on adding a bit more fluidity to my plan. Experimentation and play along the way.
Feeling good about my direction for the next 3 months and where I'm spending my attention. It's also SUPER interesting to see how differently members think about goals and how they set themselves up for success. There's no one right way. Mine is a bit traditional and rigid, but it works for me. 😅
Some interesting side-quests have appeared for me, but are all surprisingly related to my overarching themes for the year. Still, good to see where I need to shift my attention to stay on track as well as where I might need a little extra support (and what that support looks like).
Just finished facilitating a WIP Roundtable/Workshop where members reflected on and recalibrated goals (personal & work) for the next 3 months. It was interesting, for me, to see that I was actually on course for most of what I set at the start of 2024. Though, I def needed that check-in...
I'm intrigued. I don't know much about it yet (digging in now), but Metalabel sounds like an interesting idea for artists, designers, and other creatives to collaborate and release work of all sorts. www.metalabel.com/fw2024
