there are people out there who cannot survive a group chat without turning on each other who think they can do a revolution and live in a commune
prefiguatuve politics gets a bad rap but it is in some ways necessary.
"We will reach out across cultural lines to form coalitions that are stronger because of our differences!" *5 minutes later* "I had to call her out publicly, she said it wasn't problematic that gnomes get proficiency with artisan's tools!"
I reckon I'd turn on everyone in a commune, but I'd win. And frankly that's about as close to success as anyone would really get
Yes, but OTOH look at the kind of people who led all the revolutions that have ever actually happened.
i've lived in housing cooperatives (communes lite) for many years, and these people stick out like sore thumbs when they move in. some folks have to cultivate their people skills before they're ready to be part of communities.
Even wilder when its not like, college students, its people pushing 30. Like i used to b a total mess like this, but god damn ive done my best to grow out of it.
Isn't it funny? I find it so damn funny.
i know some people like that honestly. it's a nice thought, but the people who want it also enjoy their time alone and expect everything to revolve around them when it's not like supposed to be like that at all
saur true. if internet drama actually affects you, you need to grow up before you can organize
