The things sheā€™s lived through since 2016 are remarkable. Retired at 65 from her many corp roles, to take care of my Dad as he battled Parkinsonā€™s. Sheā€™s quite the role model for me

I agree with everything youā€™ve laid out. There are far too many homeless in wealthy provinces, but very tight-assed locals who canā€™t look past the tip of their noses, to emphasize with most vulnerable segments of our population. And itā€™s getting worse thanks to social media.

Iā€™m so sorry, Mike. That pandemic created schisms in many families. We had our disagreements & a few very difficult months. Today? Weā€™re ok. A challenging yr for my mother - had a really poor reaction to Pfizerā€™s bivalent that set her back for 7 months, then listeria. But much better now

How are you and your family doing?

Iā€™m not disagreeing with you. Iā€™ve been arguing for the same since I joined social media. But Iā€™m also pragmatic, laying out what is possible in this moment. Then it will be up to us to vote in Govts who can do all the above.

Cdns, in general. Compare that to 17% unemployment rate amongst youth (under 29), rent unaffordability being very high as well, for them, itā€™s going to be a trade off of whom Fed Govt can help. If youth donā€™t work, pay into CPP, EI etc, there wonā€™t be money for anyone in the future.

I do understand all your points - but I donā€™t think itā€™ll ever pass in its current format. My suggestion was simply to make it more palatable for HofC in order to pass into legislation. Poverty rate amongst senior women is around 14%. Other than that segment, this is a more well off grp than most
