Hey copyright lawyers: I know incidental mention of brand names in fiction is generally protected under fair use (as in, "he sipped a Diet Coke") but what about repeated use as a plot point? Like a character is convinced his Nikes are lucky and spends 50 pages tracking them down when he loses them.
