there's no such thing as not being "trans enough" because the only person who can decide if you're trans is you, but also sometimes i get the impression from bluesky discourse that people are treating this like political lesbianism. being trans isn't a moral value judgement or feminist power move.

i've been safe for years now. it has stopped. there's nothing left to stop. but i somehow can't feel that it's stopped. i still just want it to stop.

I like to think of myself as tech savvy, and even I thought Mastodon was a bit much. Like, clicking a link, being told I'm not logged in, trying to, and failing. Why? Wrong server. But the same login interface as any other. Not intuitive, and I imagine many users would simply quit there.
