This is a shopping list for meals during the Jewish festival of Shavuot. Its author was Solomon ben Elijah, a clerk at the Rabbinical Court in Cairo in the 13th century. Items include chickens, green lemons, eggplants, and molokhiyya, a jute-based stew still made in Egypt today. #judaism#manuscript
