These really shouldn’t be considered a replacement for regular trucks. The concept of an electric vehicle goes against what a truck needs to be to be practical.

My Honda Civic would drive right out of that mess.

You can't make those marks without Positraction.

My 2015 Crosstrek has never left me stranded, even in double that amount of snow.

I deplore Elon and all things Tesla etc. But in this case if the guy had on summer tires, and being California there's actually a pretty good chance he did, no car would have made it through. Not sure whether it needed a snow tread, studs, chains but with the wrong tires nobody goes anywhere.

Don't worry, the truck will be much lighter next winter after this Winter's road salt has had a bit of time with those stainless panels

Let me guess....patented/proprietary rims on those tires?

As the proud owner of a Jeep that's been stuck offroad before (bottoming out and needing a tow), you really have to know the limitations of what your car can handle before you just plow into things... I feel like the CT owners just believe their trucks can do ANYthing 'cause Elon said so.
