Any setback or humiliation for Zuck, Musk, or Bezos is a win in my book.

For what little it's worth, I created this account here specifically for this reason. I've not been affected directly, but seeing it play out as it has me exploring alternatives.

I’m not dunking on anyone who believed Meta would seal the market, *I* believed it when Threads launched! But having deep pockets isn’t enough to succeed The product also has to be good And a notable proportion of the users who tried it (me included) don’t seem to believe it’s good

I don’t like how Threads is set up just my opinion

I use Threads and I’ve made a lot of interesting people there but Threads could be better at dealing with the huge infiltration of porn bots which keep popping on people’s timeline, turning many users away.

I mean.. I just joined bluesky this week I didn't join threads yet.. sooo... Seems to me bluesky is winning based on this very small sample of n=me
