Which, of course, is a bastardization (and possible improvement) of the lyrics to the "You Oughta Know" song where Alanis typically sings, "It's not fair to deny me of the cross I bear that you gave to me."

Personally, given the choice between a cross to bear or a cross-eyed bear, I'd probably have to go with the googly-eyed one. Yeah, he's gonna be more expensive to maintain, but I also know I'd laugh my ass off every time I looked at his dumb eyes.

I mean, why should Alanis be the only one to have fun with a cross-eyed bear?

Though, I question whether she...in possession of said bear...would still be able to go down on you in a theatre. Awkward.
