WWT Slimbridge today the Kingfisher hide has been very active. Hobbies have been very active around the hide with 3 birds seen. Also, the Leucistic Marsh Harrier and a Imm male seen. Kingfisher, Jay x2, Sprawk, Buzzard x3, Kestrel, Ross’s and Bar x Snow goose. #GlosBirds#Slimbridge#Ukbirding
Taken on the 19/6/2022 Looking through photos, my first Little owl 🦉 Saw it from the car before slimbridge church perched on a telegraph line. (This so happened to be on my first day volunteering at WWT) Saw it for a week as it was feeding young nearby, but haven’t seen it back since.
WWT slimbridge yesterday evening. 4 Spot Reds seen, Garganey on Rushy lower pond, 2 Cattle egrets on South lake, and a Pintail from the Eider pool. Also, Kestrel, Peregrine, Great egret, Little egret x3+, GSW x2, Linnet x12+, Wigeon x18+, Marsh Harrier (female), White wagtail x2+. #GlosBirds 🪶

Around Beesands this morning. 2+ Shearwater, probably Sooty which is a life ✅. Gannet x120+, Fulmar, Bullfinch (fem), C Ringed plover x2, GCG x2, Swan x32, Cetti’s x3, Reed warbler x2. #UKbirding#Devon
Staying around Slapton ley to do my final part of DoFE tomorrow, had a look around. A very tame Seal coming to the shore to be fed by fishermen (dogs were disturbing him though), My very first pair of Otters✅. Sandw tern x6+, Swift x2, GCG x14+, S Martin x24+,GBBG, HG x270+. #UKbirding#Devon
