If you’re new to Bluesky and want to follow lots of people that are active here and mostly post about board games checkout this starter pack I created. I’ll continue to add to it as I see more people that deserve a share. Enjoy! go.bsky.app/BrFEHzd

The book is fantastic and I am so glad that the movie sounds like it hits all the same notes. I love recommending it to kids and adults because it is a story that hits on different levels depending on your age.

I just hit "Follow All" because I had the first like 10 people already and then was like "well, this seems legit" :D Thanks for making my BlueSky a more board-gamey place.

HAHA that happened to me with Super Mega Lucky Box - I was so used to games not letting me roll over that I didn't know I could make a 9 a 1 or 1 a 9 with my lightning bolts until I sat down to teach it IRL. 😅 Have fun!

Fun fact: there is a blueberry shortage right now! They were a staple in my shopping cart and then suddenly always out of stock so I had to google it...

Seeing 'Dumb and Dumber' in the theater with my Mom and hearing her laugh out loud during the "radio? Who needs a radio?" and they start singing "Mockingbird" which my Mom immediately recognized from note 1. Everyone else laughed at the general silliness, but she knew the song so it was funnier.

Obvious one: seeing The Phantom Menace in the 800-seat THX certified Senator Theatre in Baltimore at midnight and the entire audience going dead silent when "a long time ago..." came up and then erupting with applause/cheers when STAR WARS! came on the screen. (1/2)
