They really hate the people living there, but love the state of Israel since it plays into their end times fantasy.
I watched it with great joy for about 15 years, and then it started fading in importance to me for some reason. 18 years sounds about right for when I stopped watching. So the characters I loved are frozen there for me too.
Follow up: I went to Cape Girardeau, and morning clouds gave way to afternoon sun, and we had a beautiful eclipse. 1200 mile drive was so worth it.
While I have not done the calculations myself, I am assuming it is happening. I am driving 11 hours to go see which cloud is going to mess with me.
News to me, lol.
I guess I wasn't exposed to as many competing voices back then. I had nothing to contrast it with. Even then, the NY Post didn't count, lol.
I am a few hours drive away in West Virginia. Texas, historically, is the best choice in terms of weather. I have Cleveland, Missouri, and Arkansas as my spots.
Good luck! I have three different hotel reservations at different points, and will pick where I go later this week. Having one set place was too much of a gamble to me.
Good thing the Robert's court said that the voting rights act wasn't needed anymore.
Has The Times fallen that far, or is the paper I used to read in the 1980s always been that bad?
