Ok, really. We'd been expecting it since his first stroke, so it wasn't a total shock. I'd been told by his wife that I wasn't allowed to visit him at home a couple of months back, for a couple of reasons, so I wasn't expecting to see him alive again, and that came to pass.

I will be making sure that I have as little contact with her as possible, and none once the funeral is over. She's hard work and I don't need the hassle - after all I'm only related to her while he's alive....
