I don't have any clear answers but the disconnect between what scientists (esp social scientists) work and report on and what happens at the side events at UNGA, the climate and biodi COPs, etc just seems to get wider and wider every year.

Climate change is shifting hurricane patterns, and the scale of flooding is the worst in decades. We did a deep dive on Vietnam's climate vulnerability for World Bank in 2010 that still holds up well here: documents1.worldbank.org/curated/en/9...
