Maggie is delusional. I’ve tried discourse with opposing groups. Today’a right shoves bigoted hate speech and disinformation in my face and then harasses me when I disagree. I wouldn’t walk up to nazis in a real town square and strike up a conversation. Why would I on our digital town squares?

Maggie can go fuck herself. We all live in the real world, Maggie. We hear plenty of shit all day. When I come home, I want to ENJOY myself and talk with people I want to talk with. Right-wingers can kindly fuck all the way off.

Even *IF* (and that’s a big if) someone argues that you need to eat your vegetables, they don’t get to choose WHEN you eat them. When I’m reading comics, I don’t want Ukraine news jammed at me, nor do I want to see pimple-popper videos. No one has the right to force that. Full stop.

"if people aren't forced to read Ivanka and Jared's - erm, I mean MY - posts, what's the point of this site?"

There’s never any talk about getting people out of their right-wing bubbles in these situations. It’s always RWers (or, folks like Maggie who profit off them) who want to force the left to “get out of our bubbles.”

Thanks for reminding me to block Maggie Haberman on this site.

We don't need "new ideas" right now anyway. We have a glut of ideas already, so many ideas it's hard to know where to start. I would argue that what we really need is to actually make use of those ideas instead of piling on with additional bullshit

When I interact outside my own bubble, I want to do on my terms. Whether or not my bubble is good or not is kind of irrelevant here because it‘s my own choice. Having the “no bubble” bubble forced upon me takes that choice away wholesale
