Do you live in London? Try doing a 5 mile journey round here on the bus that doesn’t take at least 3 times as long as going in a car and costs more. People no longer go to city centres - transport infrastructure hasn’t caught up with this.
That’s if you actually have a bus service!

When in London I walk almost everywhere.
That's a good point, town centres are usually the destination or part of the route for all buses. In Warrington there's a train station at Birchwood but no bus that goes to the many business parks all around.
If nobody goes to city centres, what's holding up the buses?
No one ever goes to the city centre anymore; it's always too busy there. 🙄
