Ohmyfucking god. Nelson is asking about making sure there are accessible ramps available to people w/ mobility disabilities in event of fire & says that needs to be addressed before any other facilities are built. YOU MEAN LIKE A FUCKING ELEVATOR FOR AN OUTDOOR WATERSLIDE?!!?

Nelson is suggesting giving kids money through Snow Angels to clear sidewalks. And like, I'd be fucking pissed if the next stage of council avoiding dealing w/ our inaccessible sidewalks is to resort to child labour. #yqrcc

This is a niggly annoyance… The Accessibility Plan is Appendix A to admin's report on accessibility. But the Accessibility Plan has its own appendices. So if you're paging through the report, you feel like you trapped in an endless appendix loop. #yqrcc

Admin says they are repairing sidewalk distress areas that meet a certain threshold but if had more resources could expand places they do work. #yqrcc

Zachidniak says she understood council already committed to addressing backlog of sidewalk work. Wants to know what happened? Admin: Did get extra $ for that. Over 2 yrs, dealt w/ over 1k sidewalk distress repairs. More than usual. Got substantially through backlog. Have $3.4mil annual for this.
