Consultations by U.K. govt bodies aren’t intended to actually change or influence anything. They simply allow the dept / govt to say that they consulted the public. But that said, occasionally they do make a difference despite that not being their primary purpose 🤷♂️ The more responses the better!
The phrase 'economically inactive' is economically illiterate. Giving people money is proven to stimulate the economy.
