Y’all know how I feel about this. Protect yourself and others. Get vaccinated! Your naive immune system is like a seatbelt. Getting vaccinated adds airbag protection. Just like in an accident, you’re less likely to be severely injured by Covid if you’ve been vaccinated.
"Quebec’s summer COVID-19 wave has proved to be far deadlier than last year’s, defying expectations that the virus that causes it is somehow growing milder. The multi-system disease has also killed people in younger age groups, including 34 in their 50s, nine in their 40s and one in their 30s."
The disease has killed 34 Quebecers in their 50s in the past 12 months, and nine in their 40s.
Morning Pest and yees if you don’t protect yourself don’t complain.
CVS has flu/COVID shots here in PA and they are swamped
Right there with you Pestilence!
I think this is still the best public marketing slogans in public health: Schluckimpfung ist süß, Kinderlähmung ist grausam (Oral vaccination is sweet, polio is cruel) Was very successful. I remember the sugar cube with the bitter vaccine on it.
Got my new covid vaccine today.
Scheduled 😊
I’m planning on Novavax, which I got last year. I had zero symptoms. It was approved by FDA yesterday and will be shipped shortly. It’s protein based and is thought to provide more durable protection than mNRA vaccines. I got it at Costco last year. You don’t have to be a member to get it.
I like this analogy! Thanks.
Sadly, I think we were at 22% of adults last year and roughly 15% of those under 18. We're in for a wild ride, it's everywhere out here right now.
I know what I’m doing tomorrow
